PLSV is an association of companies, government bodies, hospitals, healthcare organisations and NGOs with the shared objectives of:

• Promoting the development of culture, research and scientific innovation, technological and organizational management in the health and life sciences, with particular reference to the Liguria region 
• Providing advice and support for regional policies on research, innovation, economic development, health, and training

To develop the full potential of the system of public-private research, production, and services, and improve citizens' quality of life.
